As the pastor of Jesus Worship Center, I consider it a privilege and an honor to be a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ in the City of Lafayette. In November 2015, I heard the call of the Lord to start up a church here in this city that would teach and preach the Message of the Cross.
With this strong prompting of the Holy Spirit, I conferred not with flesh and blood but immediately took action to do what He has called me to do. Not knowing where to begin, I have been earnestly seeking His leading and guidance and asking Him to send help. He has been Faithful to do just that.
Though we are but a small remnant of Believers here, holding fast to the Head, who is Jesus Christ, I pray that we would be a reflection of the Light of Jesus Christ to this community. That we may teach every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus (Colossians 1:28).
Though we desire that many will come, we more so desire that those here would be grounded and settled in the Faith, growing spiritually, moving on to maturity in Christ Jesus.
