Testimonies Coming Soon

We are very excited here at Jesus Worship Center in Lafayette to share some of the testimonies of what God has done in the lives of those in our congregation. We have seen many people come to Jesus Worship Center and experience the Power of God in their lives. Believers should attend a church where they not only experience the Presence of God but receive teaching that produces understanding and conviction. The core belief that enables Christians to grow in Christ is that the Blood of Jesus is enough. Many churches will teach that you need a better prayer life, longer study time, fasting, and even counseling. Though many of these things are fruitful in the Christian life, these tasks alone will not produce freedom in a believer. From our experience, pursuing freedom by doing anything other than simply having faith in the One Who was crucified for our sins, will cause even more bondage. Don’t get us wrong, Godly counsel is great, prayer life is essential, and even fasting is a great practice, but these things without faith in the Blood of Jesus will not set a Christian free. Our number one desire here at Jesus Worship Center in Lafayette, Louisana is first to see souls saved and second to see that same believer free from the bondage of sin. This is why we are so excited to begin bringing testimonies to this website soon. Not only are the testimonies of Christians experiencing true freedom in Christ powerful, but they will give others hope who are going through what others have been through. Luke 4:18 says, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.” So be on the lookout for our new page that will be dedicated to testimonies from those in our congregation. Don’t forget that we have made all of our Bible studies readily available on Youtube. These Bible studies are a great tool to strengthen your faith and understanding of the Word of God.
